In the Regency period gambling was
a popular amusement with hudge consequences.
All the hierarchy of the social structure
was under threat by some soldiers of fortune
even winning seats in the Houses of Parliament.
Therefore gambling was an important part of the social life.
T H E - W H E E L - O F - F O R T U N E
The objective of the evening is not
to win or loose a palace or fortune…
it is just to get two tickets for the next year’s ball.
The winner is the owner of the largest amount
of chocolate coins at the end of the day.
All the links lead to German sites
but on the evening I will also explain the games in English.
